Mubasher: Combined Group Contracting Company, listed on Boursa Kuwait, has reported a 26.5% year-on-year growth in profits for the second quarter of 2019.

Profits stood at KWD 1.05 million ($3.46 million) in Q2-19, versus KWD 830,000 ($2.74 million) in Q2-18, according to a bourse filing on Wednesday.

In the first half of 2019, the company has generated a profit of KWD 3.12 million, up 17.3% from KWD 2.66 million in H1-18.

The increase in H1-19 was mainly driven by higher operating income, the company said.

In Q1-19, Combined Group posted an increase of 13.1% in profits, registering KWD 2.07 million, versus KWD 1.83 million ($6.03 million) in Q1-18
